About the Journal

The Journal of Arts Research (JAR) is an international, peer-reviewed, and refereed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of research across all disciplines of the arts. JAR serves as an intellectual platform for scholars, artists, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share creative insights, and promote academic inquiry into the diverse fields of artistic expression.

JAR welcomes original research articles, theoretical studies, critical essays, and creative practice-based research that contribute to the understanding and development of visual arts, performing arts, music, film, design, architecture, media arts, cultural studies and so on. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches that explore the intersections of art with technology, society, and human experience.

Authors are invited to contribute by submitting high-quality manuscripts that expand the boundaries of artistic knowledge, challenge conventional perspectives, and promote dialogue across artistic and academic communities.
